Crop Circles: Yesterday and Today By Rob Simone

Crop Circles Yesterday and Today By : Rob Simone

Beautiful as they are mysterious, the world’s center of crop circle activity is only a few hours outside of the bustling city of London.

crop3
While I lived in London, I made countless visits to the countryside where these stunning formations have been reported as far back as the 1600’s. Researching these complex symbols has taken me on many journeys around the world exploring the physical and metaphysical aspects of this phenomenon.

crop1

CROP CIRCLES: THE EVIDENCE

On one particular research expedition, I set out for Avebury, which is just a few hours drive from London and is home to Stonehenge and other megalithic sites. I was equipped with a range of detection equipment including dowsing rods, electromagnetic field detectors, and a Geiger counter.

At the crack of dawn, I set up an observation post atop a hill and scanned the area with high-powered binoculars and thermal imaging cameras. I spotted an elliptical formation a few miles away. I packed up the gear and followed the unpaved access roads to the edge of the field.

Walking up to this newly formed crop formation near Silbury Hill, the largest man made mound in Europe, I began taking readings and discovered an elevated level of gamma radiation.

crop5

I scanned the area around the field, and found no other “hot spots” other than the formation. There were also deformities in the affected wheat stalk, which seem to confirm my feeling that this was not a “man made” formation.

crop2

Far too often crop circles are the product of hoaxers or the local druid population who sometimes use crop formations for rituals and ceremonies.

When it comes to crop circles, the scientific approach requires something to be measured. Biophysical experiments on the affected wheat within some crop circles have yielded reproducible results. These findings included variances in growth rates between “circle wheat” and unaffected wheat. The seeds taken out of the seed heads of wheat within these crop circles have a completely different germination behavior than the seeds taken from wheat outside of formations in the standing crop.

There are also atomic variances within the cells of the plants, which are easily seen through a microscope. This cellular change is accompanied by a chemical change, which is probably why the circle wheat seeds germinate differently in comparison to normal seeds. The seeds from some crop circles have been observed to grow three to four times faster than seeds from normal crops.

You can simulate some effects that are found in crop circles with the use of microwave radiation. Indeed, many eyewitnesses have reported an increased heat signature to recently created crop circles. Some have described this heat as boiling hot, and burn marks have also been found near formations. Dramatic changes to the chemical composition of the soil have also been recorded.

I have noticed in many formations that the soil appears to be very dry in an otherwise muddy field. Another unusual feature of crop circles is their shape when they are formed on slopes or hillsides. The crop circles become elliptic, and the long axis of the ellipse falls in line with the slope of the hill, or with the maximum gradient. Flattening crops with a board and a rope cannot reproduce these various anomalies. Even with the current level of technology that the military possesses, it would seem that it would not fully explain all of the components that some crop circles possess.

crop4

Floating balls of light are often seen in conjunction with the formation of crop circles, many of which have even been captured on videotape. Some of these sightings also show military helicopters in pursuit of this aerial phenomenon. I have seen videos showing a light floating over a field in Avebury, which splits in two, and is soon followed by a black Apache-style attack helicopter. The helicopter follows the balls of light for several minutes at which point the balls join together and continue at the same velocity.

The British government has a long history in investigating UFOs and crop circles and their aircraft are often photographed in the same frame as these phenomena.

Many times a very strong magnetic field is left behind and is enough to affect a hand held compass. Very often people with cameras and video recorders notice an instant drain of their batteries once they enter some crop circles.

With all the clamor about crop circles these days, you may think it is a relatively new phenomena, but it isn’t.

Royal Air Force pilots reported seeing patterns in the fields during WW2, it was thought they could have been made by German spies, but they had no strategic or military significance.

If we expand the boundaries of what we consider normal reality, we may begin to perceive insights into the mysteries that have baffled us for centuries.

Dec 22nd Rob Simone Hosts Coast to Coast AM – The Past Lives of Children

Rob Simone is joined by reincarnation and past life expert, Dr. Jim Tucker, who’ll discuss a number of extraordinary children who have memories of past lives, and the persuasive evidence in these cases.

For the last fifty years, doctors at the University of Virginia have investigated cases of young children who report memories of previous lives. Dr. Ian Stevenson, the founder of this work, published numerous scholarly articles and books about cases from all over the world. After working with Dr. Stevenson for several years, Dr. Jim Tucker took over the project when Dr. Stevenson retired in 2002. With Life Before Life, he presented an overview of the research. Now, after focusing recently on American cases, he presents a remarkable new collection, Return to Life: Extraordinary Cases of Children Who Remember Past Lives.

Dr. Jim Tucker Biography:

Dr. Jim Tucker, M.D., is a board-certified child psychiatrist and directs research into children’s reports of past-life memories at the University of Virginia, Division of Personality Studies. He attended the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA degree in psychology in 1982, followed by a Medical Degree four years later. He then received training in general psychiatry and child psychiatry at the University of Virginia, and began a successful private practice in psychiatry.

Five years later, he came across a newspaper ad stating that the Division of Personality Studies was beginning a new study of near-death experiences. In 1999, he began working half-time at the division, focusing on the children’s cases, and a year later, gave up his private practice completely to work at the university. He has now published a number of articles in scientific journals, and he has also spoken before both scientific and general audiences and made several television appearances. Dr. Tucker is Assistant Professor of Psychiatric Medicine at the University of Virginia Health System, and in addition to conducting research, he serves as medical director of the Child & Family Psychiatry Clinic.

New Comet C/2012 S1 (ISON) brighter than the full Moon, could be shattered by the Sun

Comet ISON has been discovered that is predicted to be visible to the naked eye in the skies during late 2013. With a perihelion passage of less than two million kilometres from the Sun on 28 November 2013, current predictions are of an object that will light up the sky with a magnitude —16.

comerelien

The uncertainty is that we don’t know what will happen after it passes by the Sun, it could pose a threat to the earth and Mars.
Some Biblical scholars are calling it a possible “wormwood” type object.

“Even if this comet survives the Sun’s passage, which is by no
means guaranteed…it can be split up into many small pieces, we really don’t know.”

– Karl Hibbits, Ph.D., John Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory

That’s far brighter than the full Moon. If predictions hold true then C/2012 S1 will certainly be one of the greatest comets in human history, far outshining the memorable Comet Hale-Bopp of 1997 and very likely to outdo the long-awaited Comet Pan-STARRS (C/2011 L4) which is set to stun in March 2013.

The new comet, named C/2012 S1 (ISON) was found by the International Scientific Optical Network (ISON) in Russia on 21 September when astronomers Vitali Nevski and Artyom Novichonok captured it on CCD images taken through a 0.4-metre reflector. Its near-parabolic orbit suggests that it has arrived fresh from the Oort Cloud, a vast zone of icy objects orbiting the Sun, pristine remnants of the formation of the Solar System.

Zero Dark Thirty – Exposing the CIA’s Inner Secrets – a Film Review by Rob Simone

Zero Dark Thirty – Exposing the CIA’s inner Secrets – a Film Review by Rob Simone

I recently saw a screening of Kathryn Bigelow’s new film Zero Dark 30,
it chronicles the CIA’s efforts to track down Osama bin Laden in the wake of the 9/11 tragedies.

The movie starts with an audio montage of the emergency calls from 9/11. The screen is black and only the audio is heard. I think Catherine Bigelow did this because she did not want people to see the same news footage that we have been watching over the course of the decade. I think she wanted people to internalize 9/11 and relate to it in their own way.

zero

From that point on we see we the painstaking efforts of the CIA through torture, bribery and high-tech surveillance to track down Osama bin Laden’s courier, Abu Ahmad al Kuwaiti.
While the events leading up to and carrying out the assassination of Osama bin Laden are known, the behind the scenes political espionage and tactical operation of the mission is not.

The film shows in great detail the torturing of many Al Qaeda suspects. Including water boarding, sleep deprivation and much more. The Central Intelligence Agency objected to the film, stating that there are many inaccuracies. But it seems to me, that is something they would have to do, because if they left this film unchallenged, it would be a quiet acknowledgment of the films accuracy.

I think what the CIA most objects to is how accurately they used psychology as a weapon.

This has been something that is a cornerstone of the CIA…using assets, gathering information and manipulating people all over the world to suit their immediate and long-term needs.

At one point the Young CIA agent responsible for tracking down bin Laden, known only as Maya, played by Jessica Chastain, is sitting across the table from Leon Panetta, Secretary of Defense. Mr. Panetta asked her if she knew why she was recruited to the CIA right out of high school. Maya replied “I don’t think I’m allowed to say…” This is a strange answer considering the director would’ve had a much higher clearance than she would.

What could be the possible reasons that she would be unable to disclose the reasons why she was recruited at such a young age? (or why the film could not)

It could be that she came from the CIA family, whose brothers or parents worked in sensitive positions. It could also be alluding to some far-reaching CIA program that has its tentacles woven within the academic system all across United States. This system could be tracking identifying traits and characteristics of adolescents and teenagers that suit particular positions within the agency.

The objections of the CIA to the film’s detailed depiction of their torture techniques and eavesdropping technology could be because it was too accurate.

A DVD quality copy is already on the Internet, on free streaming and downloading websites. This could have been done by the agency as a penalty measure for their disapproval of the film’s accuracy…?

All in all this film shows that foreign diplomacy, defense, intelligence gathering is a messy dirty murderous job and people don’t like to think of that reality. Everyone likes sausages they just don’t like to see how it’s made, and in this case the sausage is America’s continued dominance, surveillance, agenda of our foreign economic and strategic interests and the quote “war on terror.”

Cure for Cancer Discovered? DCA, Cheap Cure, Pharmaceutical Companies Block It (Video)

As there is NO profit in the New Cure, Big Pharma wont spend the money (100 Million) to get this drug through to the market.

How does DCA work, briefly?

The Michelakis team reports that DCA turns on the mitochondria of cancer cells, allowing them to commit cellular suicide, or apoptosis.

Cancer cells shut down the mitochondria, which is the part of the cell that is involved in metabolism and, incidentally, initiates the cell suicide.

A non-cancerous cell will initiate apoptosis when it detects damage within itself that it cannot repair. But a cancer cell resists the suicide process. That is why chemotherapy and radiation treatments do not work very well and actually result in terrible side effects… the healthy cells actually die much easier.

Michelakis and his team discovered that they could re-activate the mitochondria of cancer cells. Not only that, the DCA is very effective in doing it: To quote from the Michelakis paper: “The decrease in [Ca2+]i occurs within 5 min and is sustained after 48 hr of DCA exposure.” The mitochondria are so sensitive to DCA that just 5 minutes of exposure reactivates them for 48 hours.

Dichloroacetic acid, often abbreviated DCA, is the chemical compound with formula CHCl2COOH. It is an acid, an analogue of acetic acid, in which two of the three hydrogen atoms of the methyl group have been replaced by chlorine atoms. The salts and esters of dichloroacetic acid are called dichloroacetates. Salts of DCA have been studied as potential drugs because they inhibit the enzyme pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase.

Preliminary studies have shown DCA can slow the growth of certain tumors in animal studies.

Privacy Alert! The Facebook camera that can recognize you in public! (Video)

Shoppers could soon be automatically recognized when they walk into a shop using a controversial new camera.
Called Facedeals, the camera uses photos uploaded to Facebook to recognize people as they walk in.
Shoppers who agree to use the system, which has not been developed with Facebook, will be offered special deals.

A promotional video created to promote the concept shows drinkers entering a bar, and then being offered cheap drinks as they are recognized.

‘Facebook check-ins are a powerful mechanism for businesses to deliver discounts to loyal customers, yet few businesses—and fewer customers—have realized it,’ said Nashville-based advertising agency Redpepper.
They are already trialling the scheme in firms close to their office.

‘A search for businesses with active deals in our area turned up a measly six offers.
‘The odds we’ll ever be at one of those six spots are low (a strip club and photography studio among them), and the incentives for a check-in are not nearly enticing enough for us to take the time.
‘So we set out to evolve the check-in and sweeten the deal, making both irresistible.
‘We call it Facedeals.’

Facebook recently hit the headlines when it bought face.com, an Israeli firm that pioneered the use of face recognition technology online.
The social networking giant uses the software to recognize people in uploaded pictures, allowing it to accurately spot friends.

The Facebook camera requires people to have authorized the Facedeals app through their Facebook account.
This verifies your most recent photo tags and maps the biometric data of your face.
The system then learns what a user looks like as more pictures are approved.
This data is then used to identify you in the real world.

Megaupload Founder Kim Dotcom’s Mansion Raided by FBI,SWAT for Copyright Infringement (video)

‘Kim Dot Com’, Megaupload Founder Was Barricaded in Room with Shotgun Before Police Arrested Him

This story gets more strange as it goes. The larger than life Kim Schmitz, aka Kim Dot com was arrested last Thursday on copyright infringement and theft violations on his Megaupload.com website. We are not sure how many people knew the facts leading up to the arrest. Apparently, it was not an easy arrest one.

Reporters from The Global Post, the 37 year old German national had the feds raid his home but had to take careful steps to get to him as he had a shotgun ready to take aim at any time.

According to Agence France Presse, armed police had to cut into a locked safe room where Schmitz had barricaded himself with a sawn-off shotgun. Officers also seized his collection of luxury cars –with number plates reading “God,” “Mafia Hacker” and “Guilty” – and froze up to $10 million NZD ($8 million USD) in a number of New Zealand bank accounts.

Reports state there were more than 20 raids in similarity and in connection with this case that were carried out in 9 other countries.

The other suspects arrested are Megaupload’s co-founder Mathias Ortmann and chief marketing officer Finn Batato, both from Germany, and Dutch national Bram van der Kolk, who oversees programming, reported Radio New Zealand. Graphic designer Julius Bencko, head of business development Sven Echternach and software developer Andrus Nomm have also been charged, but not yet arrested.

Defeated Kim Schmitz has stated he wants his court appearance to be live because he says he has nothing to hide.

Bombshell! Autism is 5 times more common among low birth weight babies

Babies born with low birth weight is five times more likely than the general population is diagnosed with some form of autism, new research shows.

The study is the first in the United States to examine the prevalence of autism diagnoses in the smallest babies. Advances in medicine have helped more lower birth weight babies to survive, so the results may help to explain the increase in people diagnosed with autism disorder, the researchers said.

Premature infants are often born low birth weight, although the full-term baby may also be in order.

Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania, Department of Nursing and the School of Medicine identified 1105 children who weighed less than 4 pounds, 6.5 ounces (2000 grams) at birth who were born October 1, 1984, and 03 July 1989.

Sixteen years later, the researchers were able to achieve 623 of those children, and used a questionnaire to screen the autism spectrum disorders.

When the 189 children turned 21 years of age, 60 percent of those screened positive for autism spectrum disorder, and 24 percent of those who screened negative were clinically diagnosed condition. Overall, the number of autism spectrum disorders one of the participants, who have low birth weight was five times higher than the general population.

Autistic problems
People with disorders are difficult to communicate, difficulty interacting in social situations, and restrictive or repetitive interests, said study co-author Jennifer Pinto-Martin, a researcher at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and the School of Medicine.

Those with a mild autism spectrum disorders, such as people with Asperger’s syndrome, “may just want to talk about one subject,” Pinto-Martin said. “They are fully functional. They can go to college. Be able to go to work.”

The lower activity of people with autism spectrum can be no social interaction at all. “You can see them sitting in a corner, rocking back and forth,” Pinto-Martin said.

Scientists believe that the brain hemorrhaging and bruising associated with low birth weight or premature infants could explain the higher autism spectrum disorders.

“The first hypothesis is that it is linked to brain development,” Pinto-Martin said. “Preemies is something called the neonatal brain damage. In some cases, it is just like a bruise, and does not really make any difference. In other cases, there are more long-term effect.”

Medical interventions that keep premature babies alive could also play a role, Pinto-Martin said. “Keep them alive, a lot of technology involved,” he said. “They are the machines that help them breathe. They are a lot of drugs.”

“Quantity premature birth and early survival has increased dramatically,” he continued. “It may well be that because we are better to keep these preemies alive, we will create an increased incidence of autism.”

Could a better prenatal care reduces the incidence of autism?
The study confirms what doctors have known for a premature birth and autism, said Dr. Craig Erickson chief Christian Sarkine Autism Treatment Center at Indiana University School of Medicine. Autism may be more likely to develop after premature birth together with other factors such as environment and genetic predisposition, he said.

“It is not surprising, that would be a risk factor for autism,” he said. “The nice thing about this study is that they had a long follow-up period. By [21 years], you really know if people have autism or not.”

Next, the researchers hope to compare brain images of low birth weight babies in the investigation. Head ultrasounds are now routine for premature babies, Pinto-Martin said. “The first thing we do is go back and look at interest rates of brain injury and brain hemorrhage the entire cohort,” he said.

According to the study needed not only to better prenatal care to reduce the number of premature babies, but also the need for early diagnosis and intervention for autism. “Some of these young adults, thanked us when we gave them a diagnosis,” Pinto-Martin said. “They said:” I’ve always felt weird and I do not know why. “It was very moving for us.”

Archaeologists Discover a 25,000-year-old Pendant in Spain

This Pendant about 25,000 years old, was found in Irikaitz dig in the Basque Country in northern Spain, archaeologists from Sociedad ARANZADI.

The work, elongated smooth gray stone some 10 cm (4 inches) in length, perforated at one end and apparently was suspended belt or cord around the neck of the person by the Director of excavations, Alvaro Arrizabalaga, who added that the second end of the stone was used as tool for retouching flint tools from the edges, such as arrows or scraper.

The building dates from the epoch Cromagnon.

Arrizabalaga said pendant is older than the other, as yet found items in the cave Praileaitz, estimated at about 15,000 years old.

In addition, he said that there were “about 20 pieces from the same era” found on the Iberian peninsula, to date, with a special unifying element that always were found in caves.

“The song is very well preserved and we were fortunate to be able to remove without damaging in any way” by digging near the town of Zestoa, Arrizabalaga said.

The leader of the dig said tag “does not need any other restaurant,” and after studying the experts, and include it in the collection Cromagnon discoveries are in place, it will be in the hands of the public museum.

“Twenty five thousand years, people of our species came to this place, which served as a hunting place for wandering groups of” archaeologist said, adding that groups of people “moved eight times a year to areas where they were certain types of resources.”

Deposit Irikaitz, where archaeologists have started work in 1998, is known for being the place to discoveries of pieces to 250,000 years, a period when the ancestor of Homo sapiens still in existence.
