LOS ANGELES — Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney (MAK’-uh-lay-nee) of “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” hit a home run with their new baby boy.

A spokeswoman for the couple says Olson gave birth to Alex Lee McElhenney at home in the Los Angeles area Wednesday. He weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces – and forced his parents to miss a Philadelphia Phillies victory.

CHICAGO — The first week of the final season of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” will include a selection for Oprah’s Book Club.

A Harpo spokeswoman said Thursday that Winfrey will announce her 64th and latest pick during a live episode airing on Sept. 17. That would be 14 years to the day that Winfrey announced her first book club selection – Jacquelyn Mitchard’s “The Deep End of the Ocean” – on Sept. 17, 1996.

Chelsea Handler may have parted ways with her new boyfriend, Animal Planet star Dave Salmoni.

“Up until a couple weeks ago, I was working very intimately with the Animal Planet, but unfortunately, that contract was terminated,” she said on ‘Chelsea Lately’ Wednesday night. “However, I enjoyed being in bed with them and may hook up for an occasional project.”

Chelsea confirmed that she and Dave were dating on ‘The Tonight Show’ in July, and they stepped out together at a concert in August.

“She saves all commentary about her personal life for her own show,” her rep told Us Weekly when asked about a possible breakup.

‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Caroline Manzo showed off her youthful new look Wednesday night at a party for the opening night of ‘My Big Gay Italian Wedding’ (below left).

As Manzo, a mother of three grown children, said on the ‘Housewives’ reunion earlier this week, she’s recently lost 25 lbs using portion control. Below right is Manzo in 2009.

Celine Dion — and the twin boys she is expecting in November — are just fine, thank you very much.

Recent reports in a French tabloid claiming that the singer was rushed to the hospital following pregnancy complications are “completely fabricated,” Dion’s rep tells PEOPLE.

“I talked to Oprah about this right after the colonoscopy results came back,” Oz tells PEOPLE. “Her main question, classic Oprah, was, ‘I don’t care about this stuff. Are you okay? That’s the bigger question.’ It’s all about how do you deal with the rough waters you hit?” he says. “This was a storm that came over the horizon.”
